Arrival in Delhi+visiting Payal Jain

I arrived in Delhi last evening, around 6:30 pm, and was warmly received by my local host, Suresh. He escorted me to my hotel and ensured I was comfortable before heading to his own home, allowing me to rest peacefully.

Today, I set out around 10 am for a visit to Payal Jain. Payal Jain is a renowned fashion designer in India, and she also spearheads the Prem Jaim Memorial Trust, dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability. The trust was established in honor of her father, Prem Jain, a key figure in the India Green Building Council and often referred to as the Father of Green Buildings.

During our meeting, she shared insights into how they promote green initiatives and sustainability. I was particularly excited to explore the resources they have at their disposal, which could prove valuable in raising awareness about sustainability in my own community.

I also inquired about how sustainability is integrated into the world of fashion, and she mentioned that all their fabrics are locally sourced, with no reliance on imported materials.
